The rising padel star Traviesa: ”Every game and point is essential”

Nicole Traviesa has been climbing on the World Padel Tour ranking. Now the rising padel star works hard to be a top player in the world: ”That is my goal, and I wish and hope it can be done,” she says before her training in Bela Padelcenter in Alicante.

Born in Barcelona in 1999, the young upcoming padel player Nicole Traviesa has a bright future in the World Padel Tour.

The last season the 33rd ranked Nicole Traviesa, and her partner went to the round of 16 as the best result. This year she wants to improve her padel even more.

– I never say an exact number in the ranking, but the truth is that I have risen a lot. The goal is to go up a lot more and as much as possible, Nicole Traviesa says.

She has played tennis since she was young. A couple of years ago, she dropped tennis and changed to padel.

– You play alone in tennis, and it is pretty hard to be lonely. I like padel more in the sense that you can talk with a partner and do everything together, Traviesa says.

Before her tournament in Alicante Open, where she went out in the sixteenth final, she was training in Bela Padelcenter.

– It is only a few people who can maintain and carry so many years in the number one position in the world. He is still up there, says Traviesa about Fernando Belasteguin´s career.

Now the talented padel player also wants to be the number one in the world.

– That is my goal, and I wish and hope it can be done. I am giving everything in my training. Every game and point is essential, Traviesa says.
